I want to tell you a story About a

little man If I can. A gnome
named Grimble Grumble. And little gnomes
Stay In Their Homes.
Eating, sleeping, drinking wine Their.
He Wore a scarlet tunic, A blue green
hood,
It looked quite good.
He had a big adventure Amidst the grass

Fresh air at last.
Wining, dining, biding his time.
And then one day - hooray!
Another way for gnomes to say
Hoooooooooray.
Look at the sky, look at the river
Isn't it good?
Look at the sky, look at the river
Isn't it good?
Winding, finding places to go.
And then one day - hooray!
Another way for gnomes to say
Hoooooooooray.

What Does Sublimated Wrestling Singlets Mean

Mech-Bluffmania (1983)

Poland, Warsaw / Warszawa 1983

Following the classical method of every DJ's, and after a quick piece does not serve the people cuddly, gradually slow down pace, guided unto little bit lighter climates, namely the disc Bluffmania, the band's debut titled: Moss Natuiry States forces, which is one of the first national disc hooking a mainstream hard rock.

Year 1977 resulted in a very important event for the Polish rock - Robert Milewski and gentlemen Januszko Matt decided to start a band. Moss worked initially composed Januszko Matthew, Robert Milewski, Janusz Łakomiec, Christopher Fijalkowski, Adam Lewandowski, Andrzej Nowicki (later Perfect) and Janusz Domanski. Over the next six years the team won moderate fame for his own style of playing music, complete both the hardrock, artrocka, fusion, and especially popular in Poland at the baroque rock. After releasing several singles and numerous personnel changes, in 1983, finally saw the full-length album. And even two. Here I will address this first, or "Bluffmanią" album full of freshness, while kept in a characteristic only for Mechu style. CD cover could 22 years ago in our country, shocking - mainly black and white photo of band members, but the jaskrawoczerwono wyszminkowanymi mouth. Well, it might shock people too much, and in any event, the intrigue. Intrigued by the disc is adjusted so ... Church bells
bring to the song "Drinkin 'with the Devil Bruderszaft." After a while we hear a guitar riff - a dynamic, fast, simple and the simplicity is wonderful. Riff, who, though Moss was at a different time, place and was well promoted, it could now mean so much to rock music as "Smoke on the Water," "Iron Man" or "Highway to Hell." I am not exaggerating. Of course you would have to slightly improve the sound and elaborate detail, but it also closes with a "different time and place." Echoing background produced by the synthesizer sounds skillfully control the voltage. Vocally there is only granted Januszko - maybe he does not have the power, but he sings better than fine, and his voice has an interesting color (niekojarzącą so clearly from Osbourne as 20 years later). But when in the middle, "I drank ..." is a change of pace and sound mitigation, there is also Robert Milewski. He sings a much cleaner, which fits well with this part of the track. Here also begins his magic sax Tomasz Szukalski - maybe not a star, but certainly esteemed company in Polish jazz.
The second disc is placed on the title track. It is quite extensive, though less than a five-minute composition. Much slower and lighter than the previous one. Robert Milewski reproduced voice sings the whole world around him is a lie. Again we hear the saxophone, there are also backing vocals, and above all, an interesting echo effect applied.
"Is It Possible" is by far the easiest and most commercial track on the album, becoming the biggest (and probably only) hit team. Fast, bouncy, a little jazzy, even landed on one of the top three-way charts. I wrote the commercial, which does not mean that it is bad - quite the contrary. He just is lightweight, easy and pleasant, even the text is rather a joke - Januszko complains that it is difficult to simultaneously meet the needs of women and be the star of the stage. At times almost crying.
"It will go back once" to półballada. Neither the text nor the music is not anything in particular stands out, except that it is the lightest thing on the album. Unfortunately, too - the weakest.
Next on the record number is the "Four Walls." And again, a powerful strike. The same characteristic sound of guitars, synthesizers create an interesting background, and make remarkable composition, good vocals ... Text a little absurd, though a perfect match for the rest. Feel the rock verve, while an incredible lightness - that is, the moss, which have become accustomed to the previous pieces.
sixth song is called "Machine". The title refers to us - Robert Milewski is delighted with this perpetual motion machine - a human being. Again, makes itself felt Szukalski saxophone - a group at times shows that, in touching on jazz conventions feel very well (in Finally, the publisher is Poljazz), but in any case this is not fusion. If we were to categorize this music, it is only as ... Mechu music! Also pay attention to the avant-garde, with a light touch of ambient music, free entry.
"Spear", again like "Is It Possible" is about the connection between rock music and women "Every day in the morning she wakes me up again, nice and healthy, a frenzy every night." Words, however, are far more provocative. "I'm going to it, getting ready for the spear," Sami domyślcie what the title stands for "Spear".
The whole closes instrumental art-rock suite (may not suite, and even if it's very compact, because it only lasts five and a half minutes), "Nautilus." Decorated in a little calmer pace provides a synthesis of the album - contains all the elements repeated in the previous issues, but also adds something. This piece is more serious than others, and brings a little bit (see the guitar and saxophone) with Pink Floyd. Wonderful end to a perfect album.
"Bluffmania" should be on every shelf. This is one of the best records in the convention of an ambitious rock that formed in our country. Its content is also very eclectic and cohesive. Then there are original, fresh cuts, the high skills of musicians, intriguing lyrics and is something that distinguishes the true artists of the great craftsmen. It is scary to think what would happen if Robert Milewski, not holed up somewhere in the states, and the team rather than break up and come back after 18 years (1986-2004) has fulfilled the 18 years his work.

Behemoth-Zos Kia Cultus (2002)

Poland, Gdańsk / Danzig 2002

In a way I kind of feel sorry for this band. Gaining exposure coming from Poland, has to be difficult enough but add to That being inevitably Compared with the mighty Vader and in a way it Does not seem quite fair. I certainly have to give credit Them since They have been around over a decade now and have built quite a lot of support with their other releases. I just love it when a band works their ass off to get where they are without someone giving them everything they need to succeed, it shows perseverance and character not to mention a genuine love for the music.
Although the beginning of this review sounds all sunny and rosy that is in stark contrast to what you get when you put "Zos Kia Cultus" in your CD player. The album starts out with what sounds like someone turning a radio dial and then the guitars come in with a slow riff that just feels like it is leading you to your doom and finally you are blasted with "Horns Ov Baphomet". I love this kind of build up in music and Behemoth does this very well. The songs for the most part are all pretty fast with a fair amount of blast beats to be had. Although the speed is ever present the guitar work still shines through with some excellent lead work, which really adds a lot more depth to the ever-present speed. Vocals and lyrics are pretty much what you would expect from a black/death metal band and the scenes of death, violence and overall evil are never to far away. If there was one complaint I could make about this album it is that I wish it would have a little more variety like they had on "Thelema 6" which I thought was an excellent album. This is actually a minor complaint since the more I listen to this album the more I seem to like it.

Overall this album I consider a worthy predecessor to "Thelma 6" and something that fans of the band and the genre in general will certainly want to pick up. Christian Renner

Lombard for Pimpo

Poland, Poznan / Posen, 1983, 1984, 1985

catching up, or albums I promised some time already ago, and which are various reasons for not yet seen the light came dziennego.Dzis Kryska the matyska (but not Adam;) and the vast resources of dug four albums the next group, which raged in the years osiemdziesiatych.Tym together on the carpet Lombard, at best, in my opinion Malgorzata Ostrowska incarnation of the majku (Say what you want, but this novel does not grow it to heel.) preparing short biographies for the purposes of this post, I came across the unexpected obstacle: Well, it turned out that between Ostrowska, and the rest of the band, with Gregory Strozniakiem headed it came to some smoke and there is no generally reliable information on the activities of the team, covering the period of 80 . As early tomorrow, I need to get out of cellulose, Jeno note today on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of what I found on the main page and update grajkow.Konkretny word in the language of the Consumer zawtra pudding in the evening, yet typical of this phase of ander konstrakszyn.

This year marks the 25th anniversary as a band Lombard. 18.05.1981 took place the first test team in the Hall of Poznan Estrada composed Kwietniewska Wanda, Malgorzata Ostrowska, Gregory Stróżniak, Maciej Szymanski, Jeremi Sajkowski, Maurice and Chris Przybyłowicz Kuźniak. Lombard played its first concert on Oct. 20, 1981, on the various reasons already in the new composition. But it was the second of 20 consecutive births Lombard. In this way for 25 years in a pawnshop played 27 outstanding musicians among them: Peter Zander, Artur Malik, Jacek Rabbit, Zbigniew Forys, Przemysław Pahl, Vladimir Kempf, Slawomir Kosinski and Michael Burzymowski ... Musicians you to a greater or lesser degree influenced the course of history Lombard team, but always under the watchful eye of the leader, composer, vocalist and keyboardist Gregory Stróżniaka. This is what he dictated the pop-rock style that is characteristic only team Lombard. Great success in the '80s the band owed a great tekściarzom Skubikowskiemu Jack, Mark Dutkiewiczowi, Andrew Sobczakowi who responded, as far as censorship allowed, for all that happened in Poland in the '80s, when major systemic change. Greg Stróżniak most item in the history of Polish music, wyśpiewanym anthem for many generations, a unique and timeless, "Not Gonna Get Us." For 10 years, lead vocalist of Lombard Margaret was also Ostrowska. With its ekstrawaganckiemu image forever became a symbol of bygone '80s. Once sung by her "weather glass" for Gregory Stróżniaka won second prize for his composition (first not awarded) at the Festival of Polish Song in Opole. During this festival Lombard also received the audience award. Along with Malgorzata Ostrowska "Lombard has recorded 7 CD holder. The first in 1983 Fri "Death Disco", appeared in succession: "Live" (1983r.), "gray color" (1984r.), "Free of duty "(1984r.)," Anatomy "(1985), creations" (1987), "Concert" (1988) "Welcome Home" (1989). Songs the band often appeared in concert versions, on various compilations and in new arrangements such as the disc issued to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Lombard "Greatest Hits '81-'91. Lombard experienced many ups and downs, but always performed. The history of the band to exert enormous influence Polish history, there were also conflicts ... The hardest part was for the team year '90, except for all the teams, typically associated inextricably the previous system. Lombard in the '90s, only one author gave the album "Africa" \u200b\u200band has resumed all CDs from the '80s. He also started in 1997 after the "chance for success," an unsuccessful attempt to work with former vocalist Malgorzata Ostrowska, which finally ended in 1999. Today it is 7 years Lombard is measured with a new reality. He returned to the music market with a new more rock face composed Cugier Martin, Gregory Stróżniak, Paul Klimczak, Piotr Zander, Arthur and Henry Malik Ram album "Deja'vue. To tradycją stała się zadość od tego czasu skład zespołu zmieniał się już parokrotnie. Ukoronowaniem 20-lecia była płyta koncertowa z największymi przebojami zespołu nagrana w Radiowej Trójce w Studio im. Agnieszki Osieckiej „Lombard 20 lat – przeżyj to sam”. Marta Cugier i Grzegorz Stróżniak inspirowani tą właśnie płytą stworzyli też scenariusz multimedialnego widowisko "20 Lat Lombard Show", które zapoczątkowało nową erę niezwykłych projektów koncertowych zespołu. Zespół Lombard, w którym jedną z największych zmian było przejęcie mikrofonu przez Martę Cugier, która stage need not envy the clarity Małogorzacie Ostrowska, because she has it in abundance for 25 years is still under the leadership of Gregory Stróżniaka, completing work on another album, "Musical", to now 20 October 2006, the club Zeppelin Hall to register a remarkable four-hour multimedia concert, "Lombard Show, "VIP Gala 25 YEARS. Japan-Tin Drum (1981)

UK, England, London 1981

Tin Drum is a tricky album to review, although it is an outstanding album from the 1980's. There is something about this album, I have not quite got over. I think it's something to it with avant-garde Arrangements That most of the tracks have.

They do exactly what the name of the band tells you on Tin Drum, they have created a oriental-heavy album (influenced by the Yellow Magic Orchestra) that contains very eerie effects. You would think these guys actually came from Japan which they don't (They come from London). There are some nice more ambient-esque moments such as 'Ghosts' (A top 5 hit in the UK) & 'Sons And Pioneers'. Those tracks create an ice cold atmosphere when sitting in the dark.

David Sylvian's voice is somewhat similar to Bryan Ferry's but his voice does work effectively throughout. 'Canton' is an instrumental piece that sounds like an anthem for some event in the middle east. Tin Drum finishes off with 'Cantonese Boy' Which is probably the weirdest on the album. This track feels rather shuffled about and Sends chills to your body, Especially as it ends in a very obscure way.

It's quite remarkable That an album like Tin Drum spent nearly a year in the album charts in the UK. A strange Sends chills That album, like it does. A highly recommended piece. Highlights: 'The Art Of Parties', 'Ghosts' & 'Cantonese Boy'. dexternico / rateyourmusic.com

next month we start from the hard knocks, namely Fifth studio album, Sylvian and the Company, the Tin Drum in 1981 roku.Przyznam sincerely to no impact, with Japan with the band is familiar quite recently, less than two months ago, when Rob zapodalna her, blog Gentlamen Polaroids.Album take this long on my hosted the Playlist, and earned a permanent place in the iron plates pantheon, to which we gladly powracam.Inaczej August issue of Tin Drum had. After the first hearing, had done the disc is not much of an impression on me, maybe because of the time I was still deeply influenced by her great poprzedniczki.Jakis month ago I dusted off again and gave a little more time to "bitten". I guess resulted, because today I am inclined to opinion that already Tin Drum is the most mature work in the history of the band, and if I should choose one, the only items in the discography of Japan is worth hearing, no doubt it would be just the album.

In contrast to the Gentlemen Take Polaroids will not find here filled with nostalgia, airy climate and reaching for their heart-type composition Nightporter.Tin Drum is cold, The calculated synth sounds, which already form a whole other composition that I was quite hard to believe at the beginning, the work of the two discs are the same zespolu.Na his fifth disc gentlemen of Japan in August, finally freed from the influences definitely Roxy Music (by the way, another group, which drew heavily from their work, how many in the early 80's it was!), rejected the new romanticism in favor of rhythmic synthpop and a clarification of the band characteristic of the music on brzmienie.W Tin Drum climates dominate the Far East (a fantastic instrumental "Canton", endearing simplicity of implementation, "Visons Of China" or my favorite on the disc, "Still Life In Mobile Homes"), sprinkled with mechanical percussion, distinctive bass Mick Karn (who IMO only on this record shows what it really become), and synthesizers, which dominate, pushing into the background gitary.Ta last "Japanese" studio disc is largely any later announced that the achievements of Sylvian's solo and the culmination of the group that started their musical journeys from glam rock to in the 80 century deal with the creation of multi-layered soundscapes, with each successive listener odlsuchu showing more and more new oblicza.Nie no whip, Tin Drum, in contrast to the group's first album for example, Steve Strange, this product is reusable, its wealth of musical mogacy bestow many wspolczesnych.Milego play!

PS: Referring to the not so far past utyskiwan someone named Anonymous on plate prices in Poland, I might add that this album (remastered version, unfortunately, the cover of the paczuszce comparisons can be found for all three versions) bought for the ridiculous sum of 35 zlociszy serpent.pl online store, and in Germany the same disc costs 20 eur! Seek and ye shall find!

Babysitter Takes Bath With Kid

now I'm Italian

God save our gracious Queen,
Long live our noble Queen,
God save the Queen:
Send her victorious,

Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the Queen.

O Lord, our God, arise,
Scatter her enemies,
And make them fall.
Confound their politics,
Frustrate their knavish tricks,
On Thee our hopes we fix,
God save us all.

Thy choicest gifts in store,
On her be pleased to pour;
Long may she reign:
May she defend our laws,
And ever give us cause
To sing with heart and voice
God save the Queen

I hate this fucking World Cup.
